I’m curious…. what are you guys doing your science fair project on? I remember doing those in school. I won honorable mention in 6th grade. My project was called : “Are You Double-Mint Fresh? Which flavor of Wrigley’s Gum Lasts the Longest?”

Well, we’re back……. another Monday……….
I spent ALL day yesterday cleaning my house. I think I even washed like 12 loads of laundry (no hyperbole)! I’m still not finished with everything that needs to be done. We also put up our Christmas tree. Blane loves it! He’s already taken off 1/2 of the ornaments already. LOL. When does your family put up the tree? Any traditions?
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! I LOVE YOU! HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!
I was in the car last night going to my mom’s and I had Blane and Drake (my 4 year old nephew) with me. I had the radio blasting. I was singing and Drake and Blane were yelling up a storm…. and right then, in that moment, I realized how lucky I truly am. Yes, it was LOUD…… but how beautiful it was. I’m thankful to be the mother to a beautiful baby boy, and an aunt to a wonderful 4 year old. What are you thankful for?
I missed you guys today! I hope you all were good for the substitute. I bragged today to Mr. Patterson and Coach Roach about your writing. All of my students have such amazing talent. I am honored to teach you all.
Read this quote and tell me what it means to you….
The reason one writes isn’t the fact he wants to say something. He writes because he has something to say.

Actress Abigail Breslin, 11, was honored at a glamorous event in New York City last week. The young movie star was named Glamour magazine’s first-ever Girl of the Year. The event honored women who are working to make a difference in their professions. Earlier this year, Abigail became one of the youngest actresses ever to be nominated for an Academy Award, for her role in Little Miss Sunshine. In 2008, she will star in three movies, including the comedy Definitely, Maybe, out in February. What’s next for the Girl of the Year? “I haven’t dreamed it yet,” Abigail told Glamour.
Now- think about all the people you know in your life. Who would you nominate for “Girl of the Year”? Why?
Thanks to everyone for resonding to my post yesterday. This is going to be wonderful! Blane is still sick
Hopefully he will get better here soon! He has ANOTHER birthday party this weekend…. we don’t want to miss that…
Ok- here’s today’s question: How might this blogging experience make you a better reader and writer? Think about it and post a reply! Thanks!
