My Excuse

Well, there’s no excuse for not writing except pure laziness. I know- I know….. I don’t have access to WordPress at school, they still haven’t unblocked it- that’s usually where I would update my blog. Oh well. I must do better…… :) Perhaps that should be my New Year Resolution?

Brad is home. Boy have we missed him. He is doing great. Blane is VERY happy to have his Daddy home! He still has 2 more weeks before he goes back to Iraq.

Well, here’s another recent pic of Blane. Love you all!

Let’s See How Long This Lasts…..

I am SO sorry it’s been SO long since I’ve written last. I think we may have solved the website blocking deal, we’ll have to wait and see….

Brad is doing well- we hope to see him December 1st. We can’t wait!

Blane is growing so fast! He amazes me every single day……. keep posted for new pics.

Love you guys! Let me know how you are doing! :)

HISTORY GEEKS UNITE!

Wow. What a great 3 weeks of school! All of my students are enjoying history. I’m loving it, too! I am so glad I took the new GT SS job. It’s tough, but rewarding. Hopefully here soon our district will UNBLOCK wordpress so all of my students have the opportunity to read this. :) Love you guys!

Singin’ In the Rain…

Yesterday Inman had a beautiful afternoon thunderstorm. Blane and I were outside in the yard when it started raining. I picked Blane up in a mad dash and ran for the covered porch. Then, I looked at Blane, looked at the rain, and thought, why do we always try to avoid this wonderful gift?? So I put him down, and he ran out into the driveway. We danced, ran, and splashed in the rain. Wow. Beautiful. Try it sometime.

LOVE the Hair!!!!!!!!!! (Thanks Ash Shays!)

Beautiful Number..

18.5 (You can’t forget the .5)…. that’s the number of pounds that I’ve lost baby! I am so excited about my life change. I’m still drinking 7-8 bottles of water a day (no other beverage except skim milk), eating no fried foods, and my ’sweets’ consist of those tiny 100 calorie packs. I’m looking forward to the next 18.5 pounds. :) Thanks to all my family and friends that encourage me daily. This experience reminds me of a quote from Babe Ruth, “Never let the fear of striking out get in your way.” I’m not striking out! Ashley and Angie- when are we walking again?!!!?!?!?!?!
